News about the UI
Hey there !
Today we’re diving deeper into the first steps of a chapter in our game.
The story begins with the Fates, Clotho and Atropos arriving at a mystical bar in search for clues about their missing sister, Lachesis. She vanished after an argument over the sisters’ differing views on the fate of humans. While Clotho and Atropos believe in maintaining the full control of destiny, Lachesis sought to grant humans more freedom to shape their own fate.
While questioning other gods and goddesses, the two sisters witness a scuffle and a man lying on the ground, between life and death.
To decide whether or not he may live or die, the sisters decide to settle the matter through a game of billiards. If Clotho wins the game, the man lives, if Atropos wins, he dies.
Each location has its own unique set of rules for billiards, Atropos will take the time to teach you the basics.
Once you’ve mastered the basics through the tutorial, it’s time to learn a bit more about the backstory of the victim. These details will be accessible at any point in the game.
Now, it’s time to play !
Wait...not so fast! The barman steps forward. He challenges you to play a certain way. Don’t worry, this twist won’t disrupt your overall strategy. If you succeed, he’ll reward you with a fragment of Lachesis’ measuring stick, a crucial artifact you’ll need to collect throughout the chapters. Remember, assembling the entire measuring stick is essential for the final chapter, so every fragment counts !
That’s all for now, see you next time !
